Good Morning Everyone!!!
I apologize for not posting anything these last few days. I have been feeling pretty yucky this past week. I really thought I was getting the flu and over the last three or four days had some heaviness and pressure in my chest. I looked up the swine flu symptoms and one of them was pressure of the chest and shortness of breath. Last night I decided I couldn't go one more night with feeling this way, because it was a little scary for me. I am not one to get all hyped up about things and I didn't want to worry my mom, so I drove to the hospital to get checked out.

Everything turned out fine, my chest x-ray showed no abnormalities in the heart. I felt worse when I left there than when I arrived though. The nurses had a hard time getting blood drawn and the pain they put my arms through was excruciating. So today I am very sore in both arms I have more holes in me now than what I had in my body the day before. I now know why I haven't gone to a medical doctor in over 20 years. I have been very fortunate with my health throughout my life, I am more into alternative healthcare. I like going to doctors that don't put anything in your body and they don't take anything out either. I think I will start going back to a chiropractor and getting regular massages. It is the one time in my life I felt really good. I have to go for a stress test to see if I have angina and I'm going to try and schedule that this coming week.

I have a lot of catching up to do with homework and getting my postings done on the discussion boards, as well as working on my thesis statement, which will be about chiropractic benefits. I hope all of you had a happy and safe Halloween. Hope life is treating you with kindness.
Be Safe,
Tracie

  1. Tracie that is great that your not sick with the swine flu. My doctor told me to stay away from people as much as possible(only the ones that are sick), because of my lupus I'm 95% likely to get the flu. I have the shots and vaccines but that doesn't always help. I always wanted to try a doctor that doesn't have to give you medicine and do all these tests because it is very draining but I tried living without medicine and my lupus and it's not possible. I guess some things need to be treated with medicine and some don't. But I can't wait for your paper.
